How should I take creatine+?

You may recognize the ingredient taurine from brightly colored energy drink cans, but this amino acid pairs much better with creatine. Like creatine, taurine is vital for energy production and is abundant in muscle tissue and the brain. Emerging research shows that it’s also helpful for brain health and exercise performance.
Research shows that taking 1 to 3 grams of taurine one to three hours before an activity can improve aerobic performance (like time to fatigue), strength, power, muscle soreness, and markers of metabolic stress (like lactate levels). And creatine+ delivers an optimal 2-gram dose per serving. Taurine also seems to play a role in heart health (supporting blood pressure and vascular function) and in neuroprotection.*
What time of day should I take creatine+?
There’s no wrong time to take creatine+ — whether pre- or post-workout, or during your daily routine. The most important factor is consistency.
